This speculative design project portrays a hypothetical future where I can speak directly to my personal “god system” android/HCI. The system relays a transcript based on a real conversation and transformative day from my past.

Black women have historically navigated through science fiction (give thanks for Octavia Butler, N.K. Jemisin, Sophia Stewart, Nnedi Okorafor) peering into the future, hazarding to relay their vision. This work is of utmost importance as the future is being forged now and every moment, and the stories we tell are what help it take form. We must ask ourselves – who is writing the narrative for the collective future? Do they understand my experience?

Creatively (in the now) my “medium" is fluid. I have been growing into fresh skin, new perspective and greater understanding; all of which making me see and express differently. However, I’ve found that despite all these changes, the message remain the same. Please let this broadcast and all that follow be true reflections of this quest.
